RunningandLiving.com

These last couple of weeks I have been running with a group called RunningandLiving.com(http://www.runningandliving.com ) Its been conceptualised by 3 runners who have participated in international marathons.
Rahul Verghese stays in Gurgaon & coordinates the runners in that region.
The group in Delhi is coordinated by Anita Bhargava. We are a group of some 4-5 regular turnouts who gather at Deer Park( DLTA Court Side ) and do 2-2.5 loops of Deer Park & Hauz Khas Lake district park ( a loop nearly 4.5 Kms). This is mostly on weekdays.
Sundays are at Jahpanah Forest track where we usually do 2 loops ( a loop 7 kms marked )..

Will try to run this Sunday with the Health & Fitness group and persuade these runners too also to join.
Hopefully, with the 2 groups combining , there shall be a big runners group this Sunday.

it's good to run with a group at times. the energy that goes around makes you less tired than if you are running alone. i haven't run with a group for a veeerrryyy long time. enjoy your runs! :)

i'm a competitive runner (i run for the Greater Boston Track CLub; www.gbtc.org) here in the u.s. and need to run with a group when i go to india with my parents. is it possible for a temporary person to join your group?

i have never run anywhere in india (due to my family's apprehension) and i think my parents and relatives would be very relieved to know that i am running with a secure group of people. i would appreciate it too, since i'd be too inhibited to go out on my own and would be going crazy if i didn't get to run.

running is a major part of my life and i need to keep running in order to run well in races when i come back to the u.s. please let me know if it is possible to run with your group if/when i come to delhi. Thanks!

i've included your blog in mine (lespetitsmorceaux.blogspot.com), as i found it a great relief to finally find groups of runners in india.
